The Grizzlies were firing on all cylinders this past week against the Peach State Cats putting up a season-high 89 points.
The Grizzlies were led by Quarterback Darren Daniel, who connected on 10-16 for 163 yards and 6 TDs. Daniel got help from AJ Stevenson, Drake White and Jalen Jackson who accounted for 4 TDs each. The Grizzlies got their anchor back on defense in Brandon Sutton who was a force to be reckoned with, accounting for 3.5 sacks disrupting the Cats offense holding them to 6 points for the night. One of the Grizzlies more recent additions, Quentin Tucker, also got himself into the mix with 2 interceptions.
After the game Head Coach, Scott Meserve said, “This is our first step in becoming a championship team,” The Grizzlies look to build off of this great team win as they take on the Georgia Doom this Saturday, May 26th at 7 pm Home at the George Holmes Convocation Center.
