BOONE, NC- William Thompson, General Manager of the American Arena League’s
High Country Grizzlies, today announced that the team signed Defensive Back Jaa
Valentine for the 2018 season.

“Valentine experienced DB and leader of secondary,” said Head Coach Scott
Meserve. “I coached him with Cape Fear and he’s going to be a great addition.
Listed at 6’2” 212, Valentine played collegiately at Virginia State University. He
has played professionally for Sioux City Bandits of the Indoor Football League
(IFL) in 2010, Saginaw Sting of Ultimate Indoor Football (UIF) in 2011, Omaha
Beef of the IFL in 2012, Cape Fear Heroes of American Indoor Football (AIF) in
2014 and X-League Indoor Football (X-League) in 2015, and Myrtle Beach
Freedom of AIF in 2016-17.
