BOONE, NC- William Thompson, General Manager of the American Arena League's
High Country Grizzlies, today announced that the team has signed Cornerback and Safety
Johnathan Andrews for the 2018 season.

“Johnathan has some experience in lower level arena football; Head Coach Josh
Resignalo said. He’s an aggressive DB athletic ability and has a knack for the ball.”

Listed at 5′ 11″, 200, the Atlanta, GA native played for the Newberry Wolves of the
NCAA Division II South Atlantic Conference.

Andrews most recently played professionally for the Upstate Dragons of Supreme Indoor Football (SIF) in 2017. In his
rookie season, Andrews played three games recording 15 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 3
pass breakups, 2 sacks, and 1 interception.
